A young adults, year-long leadership and discipleship course that will teach you to love God, have a firm foundation in Jesus Christ, to serve others as God has commanded us and live life to the fullest.

HOW ABLAZE WILL WORK FOR YOU

Over the course of your Ablaze experience you get to call  Camp El Olam home. Part of your time at this youth camp and education venue will be dedicated to training to facilitate camp programmes.

By the end of your time with us you will be confident in being a part of the planning and running of specialised camps where your main focus will be sharing the gospel, team-building and training leadership exercises.

In order for you to become a confident, purposeful and intuitive leader we will train and equip you with skills that will not only enable you during your year with us, but will also qualify you to face your future head on.

    You will be involved and serve in the local church

  • Serving Others

    Opportunities to be involved in other community projects and at Hope Valley Farm School, also based on the same farm

    You will learn to facilitate programmes at Camp El Olam, this will include the planning and running of camps

    Attend a weekend seminar at Golden Harvest Conference Centre in the Natal Midlands learning about where you are and where you should be heading in God.

  • Tychicus Camp

    You get to be the camper at this camp, specially structured for school leavers. Tychicus Camp takes place at varying venues.

  • AYM Youth Camp

    Get to serve at a camp at Anerley on the Natal South Coast aimed at high school learners

  • Celebrate your Year

    Spend a week debriefing and reflecting on your highs and wins over your Ablaze year

    Taking the gospel to the world - You will benefit by being challenged and stretched, from being in rustic accommodation to having to find ways to bridge the language barrier to share the gospel with others as well as learning many skills while fund raising for this trip

WHAT DOES IT COST

R5300 per month  

If you wish to pay over 10 months the cost will be R6360 per month.

This covers food, laundry, accommodation, electricity and water as well as courses and training, experiences and travel.

If you are accepted there is an additional registration fee of R6500. This includes an official Welcome Pack with some Ablaze kit and study material.
