Welcome to Camp El Olam

I had lots of fun on the night walk even though on the way back, I got a bit tired. I also liked drinking hot chocolate and sitting around the bonfire. My favourite part was archery, I loved popping the balloons. The snake pit was fun, even though it took a long time to wash the mud out of our hair!

Thank you for being so accommodating and for all of your support. I was so impressed by your facilities. There are excellent leaders and they were incredibly observant. My colleagues also loved the experience and asked me to extend their thanks.

They also made us feel so welcome and went out of their way to host us. The work you have done on the camp is looking fantastic. The upgrades are great! The food was also very good, so thank you. Thank you for an incredible camp! We are so blessed to be able to come to your facility and to work with such amazing people like yourselves. Our boys always leave so much ‘richer’. From start to finish our boys were so well looked after and every counselor has made an impact on their lives. I will say it has been our most successful camp thus far during my time at Prep.

On behalf of the parents… and as a parent…. A huge thank you for taking the kids and my child on camp. She has not stopped talking about how much she enjoyed it and loved all the activities. She loved the food. Loved her counsellor and the whole experience. She even said she loved the mud (which if you have know Abi from a young age you will know is AMAZING). She has loved it. Thank you for the safe encouraging environment that is created where the kids are a little more independent and pushed them to try new things.

It was an awesome experience. My favourite activity was borrow the ball, because of trying to free people from jail. I didn’t like the mud. My favourite facilitators were Jabs and Emily and all the other facilitators were very nice. The food was delicious. Camp El Olam you have out done yourself. This was truly the best excursion ever!

The impact of our time with you is still being felt across our campus. I wanted to reach out and extend a massive thank you for the transformative experience that our Grade 8s had on camp. From the high-energy chaos of rolling in the mud to the archery and the time spent with the local school kids, every moment was intentional. We watched our learners undergo a visible shift; they were growing, maturing, and truly discovering the meaning of "team" right before our eyes. Beyond the activities, what truly set this experience apart was the spiritual depth of your program. We were profoundly moved by the daily devotions and the genuine fire that your team has for the Lord. Additionally, we felt incredibly cared for as the Grace Staff. Your thoughtful hospitality ensured that our coffee cups were never empty and that we were treated like royalty. Your team modelled the essence of servant leadership by living it out with humility and kindness.
