Total capacity: 120 campers
- 2 cottages with 3 bedrooms each, with 2 beds per room, plus private bathrooms and lounges
- 4 ladies’ bungalows with 12 beds each and en-suite bathrooms
- 4 gents’ bungalows with 12 beds each
- 1 safari tent with 10 beds
- 1 large ladies’ ablution block with 5 showers and 5 toilets
- 1 large gents’ ablution block with 5 showers, 3 toilets, and a urinal

Terms and conditions
Booking and payment procedures
- Bookings are only confirmed once a R5000 deposit has been paid
- An invoice for the remaining camp fees is then issued
- 50% of the total fee is due 30 days before camp
- The final balance is payable on arrival day
Cancellations
- The booking deposit is non-refundable
- If a camp is cancelled less than 3 months before arrival, the group is charged the minimum payment per night for the number of nights booked
- If a camp is cancelled within 30 days of arrival, the full camp fee is charged as per the invoice sent before camp
- Non-arrival campers are charged the full camp fee
Times
- Camp access begins from 3pm on arrival day
- A camp leader must arrive before 5pm to receive keys and briefing
- Late arrival after 5pm may result in an added fee
- Departure on a Sunday must be by 2pm
- If departure is on any other day of the week, departure must be by 11am, unless other arrangements have been made with management
- Staying later than allowed may result in an additional per-person day fee
Catering
- Cleaning the kitchen is the responsibility of the group
- The kitchen must be kept clean during camp and left clean on departure
- Groups must bring their own detergents, broom, mops, cloths, and related cleaning items
Ablution block

- The ablution block must be kept neat and tidy
- Wet floors can become slippery, so care is required
- Groups must provide their own detergents, broom, mops, and cloths
- Toilet paper is provided
Refuse
- Full bin bags must be placed in the refuse area above the top ablution block
- The door should be kept closed so animals do not get into the rubbish
Grounds rules
- Anyone found breaking camp rules may be fined
- Breakages that happen during camp will be charged
- Only one person may use the trampoline at a time
- Swimming in dams is not allowed unless a qualified lifeguard is on duty and flotation devices are in place
- This is a working farm, so campers must stay away from machinery and give way to farm vehicles
- Campers must pay attention to signage, especially where crops are sprayed and chemicals may be dangerous
- Cutting cane or other plants is not allowed
- Harassing animals is not allowed
- If using the firepit or braai area, campers must take the necessary safety precautions
- No pets, firearms, fireworks, motorbikes, quads, smoking, alcohol, or unreasonably loud music
- Quiet time is after 10pm
Servicing the camp
- The camp is handed over in a clean, ready-to-use state
- During camp, a staff member remains on duty but only empties bins around camp and cleans ablutions in the morning
- Kitchen bins and general cleanliness remain the campers’ responsibility
- A staff member will meet the group on arrival and again on departure to check that the camp is left in a satisfactory condition
Fire
- Fire extinguishers are available
- In the event of a fire, campers should be moved quickly to the volleyball court and camp management and the fire department must be alerted
Load shedding
- A generator is available for use during load shedding
- It only powers lights and is normally switched on from late afternoon until 9pm
- If the generator is needed after 9pm, an hourly charge applies
- Bringing torches is recommended
